UNCONVENTIONAL CHIC

Ricardo Feldman curated the Unconventional Chic Inspirée exhibition in 2011, based on the POLO L. 12.12 shirt, an icon of the Lacoste brand. The connection between Brazil and France was established with the talents of the photographers Bob Wolfenson and Ludovic Caréme who made non-conventional moving portraits, in a fruitful dialogue between film and photography. The exhibition contrasted design and technology by being featured in the symbol of timeless sophistication, the Great Hall of the São Paulo Jockey Club. 12 giant screens were built for the 24 portraits-in-motion of celebrities from the fashion, gastronomy, design, and music world and those photos were part of an exclusive and numbered catalogue. The show was considered by the quartier général of the fashion brand in France one of the best projects created outside of Paris as it brought Lacoste's joie de vivre to the Brazilians, and was also held in Rio de Janeiro (August 23 to September 4) and Brasilia (from September, 15 to 25, 2011).
